A Weekly Message From Fr. Martin Bradbury |
What is the purpose of these messages?
Each week, our Pastor Fr. Martin Bradbury shares
with us his reflections on the Scripture readings for each Sunday.
These reflections relate to the world we live in and how we may
learn to apply these teachings to ourselves, in our world and
as a way in which we can learn to live and be joyful, as God's
children.
Would you like to ask Fr. Martin a question about his messages?

This weekend we celebrate Labour Day. Many will be at the cottage or campgrounds enjoying their time before going back to school and others will be enjoying their last weekend of summer holidays. |
|
On this the 22nd Sunday of Ordinary time, we hear of the gift of humility and seeing others in the “light of Christ”. |

As we enter the month of August we are called through the readings to search who we are... |
|
As we move through the summer it is hard to believe that July is almost gone... |
|
No message for this week. |
|
We have all heard the story of the Good Samaritan, and it may have been used at different times... |
|
Though the first official day of summer has past, we have now entered the official first weekend of summer... |
|
We hear in the readings today the call to be Disciples of the Lord, to follow Christ... |
|
I want to begin by wishing all the Fathers a Happy Fathers
Day... |
