As our community was growing in numbers, so were the number of families who wanted to enrol their children in faith-filled education. In the beginning, our children were schooled in the Annex portion of the Church, and our basement hall was used as a lunchroom and cafeteria. Holy Cross School was built several years later and officially opened its learning doors in 1929. In addition, monies were raised to fund a full-sized Gymnasium and Hall for the School.

With the addition of our growing number of students, the Diocese also felt it was best to build a separate secondary school, to accommodate the educational needs of our teens. St. Boniface Diocesan High School had its cornerstone dedicated in 1965.
