Welcome

In response to Jesus' loving plea to spend time with Him, Holy Cross Parish offers the faithful an opportunity to worship. As of November 30, 2008, we have inaugurated a Perpetual Adoration Chapel, open to people of all parishes.

This is an opportunity for interested persons to sign up for a convenient time within the twenty four hours of a day to be with the Eucharistic Lord. He invites and assures you to "Come to me all who are burdened and heavy laden and I will give you rest".

Your gift of spending one hour in the company of the Lord will allow countless others to come and visit the Lord, day or night. If you or your group would like to participate in the one hour of Adoration, on a weekly basis, we invite you to contact the co-ordinators: Dawn or James at (204) 237-6330 or e-mail us at letusadorehim@gmail.com.

We are always looking for more Adorers! If you can dedicate one hour of your time each week, please be in contact with us.

Before you visit...

To ensure your protection and safety, we have in place a security system (security card) that allows all registered Adorers 24-hour access, 7 days a week.

If you are visiting for the first time and do not have access, you may visit between the hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and knock on the chapel door.

To obtain a security card that wil give you all access, please come to the Parish Office during regular office hours to register:
Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM, 1:00 - 3:00 PM
When obtaining your card, we ask your support by a donation of $10.00 (tax receiptable), to cover the costs of this security system.

Chapel Directions & Location

Please use the map below find directions to our Parish building:

To enter the Chapel door, please park your car at the back of the Church, in the parking lot. Once you are in the parking lot, you will see a door that says "Silence Please". Please ensure to use your security card when entering, so as not to disturb other Adorers.

Adoration Team Schedule

Please contact the relevant Day Captian if:

• You wish to sign up for a specific time on a certain day
• You are not able to make it for your regularly scheduled time and can’t find your own substitute
• Nobody arrives after your time in the chapel to replace you. Your Day Captain will try to find somebody to substitute as soon as possible. You can phone other Day Captains too.
• You have other concerns

If you have questions on the overall schedule administration, want to help out with the administrative work, or cannot reach your Day Captain, contact the Main Schedule Coordinators directly.
