Welcome to the parish!

Holy Cross Parish is the oldest English language parish in the St. Boniface Archdiocese, established in 1922.

At Holy Cross, our community is a family community, with each Mass offering something special and unique. Our diverse ministries, groups and organizations encourage growth in faith, hope and love - working as ‘one’ in the Body of Christ.

We celebrate our rich history with 300 families of the Catholic community of the Norwood and St. Boniface area. Our Parish is the home of Manitoba’s first Perpetual Adoration Chapel!

Next 3rd Sunday Collection: will be the weekend of August 17-18. This special collection supports our weekly Food Bank to help the needy of our community. Please be generous!

Children's Programs & Registration For the Fall: Information and registration forms are now available for our Children's Programs (Atrium, Sacramental Preparation & Children's Liturgy). Please visit our Children's Programs page for forms, registration and start dates by clicking here. You may also pick up a handout and registration forms at the back of the Church.

School Support/5th Sunday Collection: When there is 5th Sunday in a month, the Parish asks for your support of the 5th Sunday Collection which continues the faith-building and faith-filled education at Holy Cross School. We ask your support on the August 28-29 weekend. Thank you!

Summer holidays are here! Don't forget us! The Church still operates during the summer months & we are still in need of your stewardship. Please consider giving your Sunday offerings before you head out to enjoy your holidays. You can leave us your post-dated cheques by dropping them at the Parish Office. You also have the option to make your donations via pre-authorized debit, directly through your bank account. Please call the Parish Office for more details. Virtues Project Workshop at Holy Cross: The Associates of Marguerite d’Youville are hosting a one day Virtues Project Workshop that will be presented by Irene Hudek, Educator and certified Facilitator. This workshop will be held on Saturday, August 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. in the basement hall. The cost is $20 (refreshments and lunch included). Note: registration fee to be received by August 15th. Late registrations may be accommodated according to space availability. For info & registration call Karen @ 453-4999.

Youth For Christ CAMP Is Coming to Holy Cross! All young persons from our Parish are invited to attend an exciting Youth Camp, held at Holy Cross in the Fall. More information and details will be announced soon.

Fully Alive Retreat at Holy Cross Gym: November 6th & 7th for ages 16 & up. A Retreat with Ken Yasinski from Face to Face Minstries. $45 registration fee, $55 at the door. It is a retreat that makes all believers grow in their faith, whether you're a youth or senior! Come and be ignited into a deeper understanding of the Holy Spirit.
